Die Corona.Krise bestimmt seit Monaten das Weltgeschehen und damit auch den Automobilwoche Kongress, der zum ersten Mal digital stattgefunden hat. Herausgeber Helmut Kluger betonte in seiner Eröffnungsrede, dass es dabei nicht um ein unvorhersehbares Ereignis handle, das Nassim Taleb als schwarzen Schwan bezeichnen würde. Eine globale Pandemie war vorhersehbar - es war nur nicht sicher, wann sie kommen würde.
Mit der Branche ging Kluger hart ins Gericht: "Das klassische Geschäftsmodell vieler Autohersteller ist ökonomisch betrachtet nicht nachhaltig. Sobald der Absatz um 10 bis 15 Prozent sinkt, geht es mit Karacho in die Verlustzone", sagte er- und zählte drei Punkte auf, die für ein nachhaltiges Geschäft dringend erforderlich sind.
