Luxemburg. Cadillac meldet sich mit fünf Modellen auf dem deutschen Automarkt zurück. Knapp zwei Jahre nach der Pleite des letzten Generalimporteurs will die US-amerikanische Luxusmarke auch hierzulande wieder Fuß fassen. Zunächst ein gutes Dutzend Händler übernimmt den Vertrieb, kündigte Cadillac-Europachef Wolfgang Schubert in Luxemburg an. Der Verkauf soll in Kürze beginnen.
Bei seinem Comeback setzt das Unternehmen vor allem auf den CTS im Format von Mercedes E-Klasse und Fünfer-BMW. Den Wagen gibt es zu Preisen ab 47.490 Euro als Limousine. Die Kombiversion kostet ab 49.990 Euro, das Coupé ab 54.136 Euro. Alle CTS-Varianten haben Heckantrieb, können aber auch mit Allradtechnik bestellt werden.
Drei Motoren stehen für den CTS zur Auswahl: ein 3,0 Liter großer V6 mit 203 kW/276 PS, ein Sechszylinder mit 3,6 Litern Hubraum und 229 KW/311 PS sowie ein aufgeladener V8, der aus 6,2 Litern Hubraum 415 kW/564 PS schöpft. Die Aggregate ermöglichen Cadillac zufolge Geschwindigkeiten bis zu 308 km/h.
