Ingolstadt. Audi bringt im nächsten Jahr frischen Wind in sein Modellprogramm. Als wichtigste Premiere für 2012 kündigte Entwicklungsvorstand Michael Dick die dritte Auflage des A3 an. Der Kompaktklasse-Wagen werde sportlicher und sparsamer. Mit geringerem Gewicht, serienmäßiger Start-Stopp-Automatik und Rekuperation sinkt der Verbrauch der Verbrennungsmotoren laut Dick um bis zu 20 Prozent. Geplant sind außerdem eine Elektroversion sowie Varianten mit Hybrid- und Plug-in-Hybrid-Antrieb. Auch ein Erdgasangtrieb ist vorgesehen.
Für den Innenraum des neuen A3 versprach Dick eine Ausstattung auf A8-Niveau: Dazu zählen eine Google-Navigation, ein hochwertiges Musiksystem und ein berührungsempfindliches "Touchwheel" auf der Mittelkonsole, um das Infotainment zu steuern. Außerdem soll der neue A3 nahezu alle Assistenzsysteme aus der Oberklasse an Bord haben, darunter auch ein Abstandswarner mit Notbremsfunktion.
Nur für einen kleinen Kundenkreis bringt Audi Anfang 2012 eine GT-Version des R8 Sypder. Durch den Einsatz von Karbonbauteilen ist wird der offene Supersportwagen 100 Kilo leichter als das konventionelle Modell, erklärte Dick. Außerdem leiste der V10-Motor dann 412 kW/560 PS und ermögliche ein Spitzentempo von mehr als 310 km/h. Zu den Preisen gibt es noch keine Informationen. Nimmt man aber die 40 000 Euro GT-Aufschlag beim R8 Coupé als Grundlage, wird der Spyder etwa 205 000 Euro kosten.
Das technisch kniffligste Projekt der nächsten Jahre wird für Audi der Nachfolger des A2. Der bis 2005 gebaute Kleinwagen soll als Antwort auf den BMW i3 sein Comeback erleben. Dabei setzt Audi auf Leichtbau durch einen Mix aus Aluminium, Stahl und faserverstärkte Kunststoffe - und die Kraft von Elektromotoren. Denn den bislang namenlosen Kleinwagen werde es nicht als reinen Verbrenner, sondern nur mit E-Antrieb oder als Plug-In-Hybrid geben, sagte Dick. Wann der A2-Erbe auf den Markt kommen soll, ist noch nicht bekannt. (dpa/swi)
