München. Die sportliche M-Version des Einser BMW kommt in Deutschland im Mai 2011 in den Handel. Der Kompaktwagen wird mindestens 50.500 Euro kosten. Das hat der Münchner Hersteller jetzt vor der Premiere auf der North American International Autoshow im Januar in Detroit angekündigt.
Angetrieben wird das neue Einstiegsmodell der BMW-Tuningtochter M von einem 3,0 Liter großen Sechszylinder mit Doppelturbo und Direkteinspritzung. Der Motor leistet 250 kW/340 PS. Er beschleunigt das Coupé in 4,9 Sekunden auf Tempo 100 und wird bei 250 km/h abgeregelt. Den Verbrauch gibt der Hersteller mit 9,6 Litern an, was einem CO2-Ausstoß von 224 g/km entspricht.
Neben dem Motor wurde beim Einser M Coupé auch das Fahrwerk sportlicher angestimmt und die Bodenfreiheit reduziert. Außerdem verzögert das Auto mit stärkeren Bremsen. Hinzu kommen noch ein sportlicher gestaltetes Interieur und ein markantes Design. Äußerlich hebt sich der Wagen unter anderem durch eine tiefer gezogene Frontschürze, angedeuteten Kiemen in den vorderen Kotflügeln und vier Auspuffendrohre vom regulären Modell ab. (dpa/swi)
