Esslingen am Neckar. Die Produktmärkte Kfz-Finanzierung, Kraft- und Schmierstoffe, Autoteile-Hersteller und Autovermietung verzeichneten im vergangenen Jahr bei einigen Unternehmen beachtliche Steigerungen der Werbespendings. In den Bereichen Werkstätten, Online-Portale Kfz und Reifenhersteller wurden die Werbeausgaben teilweise drastisch gesenkt. Zu diesen Ergebnissen kommt die aktuelle Studie "Werbemarktanalyse Automotive-Umfeld 2014" von dem Media-Auditor Ebiquity und dem Marktforschungsunternehmen Research Tools, die die Werbeausgaben im Automobil-Umfeld im Zeitraum Oktober 2012 bis September 2013 untersucht haben. Continental, bisheriger Spitzenreiter bei den Werbeausgaben, fährt danach seine Ausgaben erheblich zurück und macht Platz für Carglass.
Automobilwoche hatte Ende Januar die Werbeausgaben der gesamten Autobranche für 2013 genannt: Die Investitionen des Kfz-Markts waren mit rund 2,2 Milliarden Euro um 5,5 Prozent gegenüber 2012 gesunken. Das hatte das Hamburger Marktforschungsinstitut Nielsen exklusiv für Automobilwoche ermittelt. Mit 245,8 Millionen Euro investierte Volkswagen am meisten in Werbung und liegt damit mit vor Daimler (145,5 Millionen Euro), Audi (142,7 Millionen), Ford (129,7 Millionen) und Renault (120,9 Millionen).
Laut der neuen Studie für das Automotive-Umfeld haben die Werbetreibenden 645 Millionen Euro für mediale Kommunikation ausgegeben. Im Vergleich zum Vorjahreszeitraum sind die Ausgaben in den zehn in der Untersuchung analysierten Produktmärkten um 19 Prozent zurückgegangen. Gleichzeitig sei die Zahl der werbenden Unternehmen um 161 auf 889 gesunken.
Die Studie kommt zu folgenden Ergebnissen: Produktmarktübergreifend führt Carglass mit über 50 Millionen Euro das Ranking der Unternehmen nach Werbevolumen an. An zweiter und dritter Stelle liegen mit jeweils 25 Millionen Euro das Online-Portal mobile.international und die Volkswagen-Händler. Reifenhersteller Continental, der noch im Vorjahr das Ranking mit mehr als 100 Millionen Euro Werbeausgaben dominierte, liegt aktuell im Gesamtranking auf Platz zehn. Der Produktmarkt Reifenhersteller habe sich nicht nur durch den drastischen Rückgang der Werbespendings von Continental neu sortiert, lautet die Analyse. Auch Michelin und Goodyear Dunlop hätten die Werbeausgaben deutlich gekürzt. Aufsteiger und Drittplatzierter sei nach Continental und Goodyear nun Pirelli mit über neun Millionen Euro Werbespendings. Den größten prozentualen Zuwachs im Vergleich zum Vorjahreszeitraum verzeichnet nach Angaben der Studienleiter der Produktmarkt der KFZ-Finanzierer. Die Werbeausgaben hätten sich im Vergleich zum Vorjahreszeitraum fast verdreifacht. Zurückzuführen sei das auf die knapp 15 Millionen Euro Werbespendings der Direktbank ING-DiBa, die sich damit an die Spitze dieses Produktmarkts katapultiert habe.
