Der CEO des Elektroautoherstellers Lynk&Co. schwört auf das Teilen von Mobilität, denn die neue Generation der Heranwachsenden ticke ganz anders. Sie muss nicht mehr ins Autohaus gehen und ein Auto kaufen. "Die Automobilindustrie hat mit einem Vertriebs- und Eigentumsmodell weitergemacht, das seit 100 Jahren besteht. Das ändern wir jetzt. Kunden schätzen heute Produkte, die ihren digitalen und sich ständig verändernden Lebensstil spiegeln", sagte Visser kürzlich bei der Live-Präsentation des ersten Modells.
Visser, selbst ein Kind der klassischen Automobilindustrie, ist heute einer der größten Kritiker, was die Art des Autoverkaufs angeht. Und bricht mit den altbekannten Branchentraditionen. Sonderlich diplomatisch ist Visser dabei nicht. "Die Autoindustrie ist groß, langsam und arrogant", sagte er einmal vor Jahren.
