Berlin. Citroën will nun auch in Europa und Deutschland für seine Submarke DS ein erstes Netz eigener DS-Verkaufsräume im Citroën-Handel aufbauen. Das sagte PSA-Strategiechef Yves Bonnefont am Donnerstag im Gespräch mit der Automobilwoche. "Wir unterstützen Händler, die mit guten Ideen zu uns kommen und für die DS-Linie eigene Showrooms entwickeln wollen", sagte Bonnefont.
Ein erster DS-Flagship-Store wird Anfang Dezember in Paris eröffnet, er gehört aber dem Hersteller selbst und soll Anregungen für den Handel in Europa liefern. Die Standards in den geplanten DS-Stores dürften allerdings sehr hoch sein, denn die Ausstattung der Räume soll allerhöchsten Ansprüchen genügen.In Deutschland startete im vergangenen April das Autohaus AC Quality Cars in Aachen auf eigene Initiative mit einem besonderen DS-Ausstellungsraum (siehe Foto). Geschäftsführer Günter Jacobs investierte nach eigenen Angaben einen "niedrigen sechsstelligen Betrag" in den DS-Salon.In Schanghai hatte Citroën bereits im vergangenen Jahr einen ersten DS-Store gegründet. In dem Wachstumsmarkt wird DS allerdings auch nicht als Submarke von Citroën, sondern im Rahmen eines chinesisch-französischen Joint Venture als eigene Marke geführt. Derzeit existieren 54 DS-Autohäuser in China, bis Ende 2014 soll sich die Zahl verdoppeln.Seit dem Start der ersten DS-Modells im März 2010, dem DS3, wurden weltweit 400.000 Fahrzeuge verkauft. Der DS4 folgte im Mai 2011, der DS5 im November 2011. Geplant sind in den nächsten zwei Jahren ein größerer SUV auf Basis des Conceptautos "Wild Rubis" und eine große klassische Limousine.
