Der Outsourcing-Dienstleister TDS managt im Rahmen des Application Hostings die gesamte IT-Infrastruktur in den eigenen Rechenzentren in Deutschland und sichert den kompletten Anwendungsbetrieb von SupplyOn. "Wir brauchen für unser Geschäft kein Outsourcing von der Stange, sondern ein genau auf unsere Anforderungen zugeschnittenes Konzept sowie ein entsprechendes Team, das uns TDS bedarfsgerecht zur Verfügung stellt", so Arno Lais, Director IT bei der SupplyOn AG.
Das in Halbergmoos ansässige Unternehmen ist eine Internetplattform für den Elektronischen Datenaustausch (EDI) zwischen Herstellern und Zulieferern.An der Plattform sind Bosch, ZF Friedrichshafen, Continental sowie der Schaeffler-Konzern beteiligt. Im IT-Ranking der Automobilwoche auf Basis der Geschäftszahlen von 2012 liegt SupplyOn mit Erlösen von 21,5 Millionen Euro an Nummer 24 der 25 größten IT-Dienstleister für die Autoindustrie in Deutschland.TDS hat den eigenen Angaben zufolge die Effizienz der Plattform durch den Einsatz von Virtualisierungs- und Cloud-Technologien wesentlich optimiert und die Betriebskosten gesenkt.
