Stuttgart. Zum 1. Juli übernimmt Uwe Thomas die Führung der Sparte "Automotive Aftermarket" von Zulieferer Bosch. Der 56-Jährige ist derzeit Chef der Robert Bosch Car Multimedia GmbH mit Sitz in Hildesheim. Der aktuelle Leiter des Aftermarket-Geschäfts, Robert Hanser, zieht sich altersbedingt nach sieben Jahren an der Spitze der Organisation zurück. Er tritt zum 1. Juli in die Geschäftsführung der Bosch Management Support GmbH. Dabei handelt es sich um eine interne Managementberatung aus Senior Experten, die weltweit tätig ist.
Unter Hansers Leitung vollzog der Geschäftsbereich Automotive Aftermarket einen grundlegenden Strategiewandel vom reinen Handelshaus zum umfassenden, weltweit aufgestellten Systemanbieter für den Werkstattmarkt. Die Diagnostics-Sparte wurde ausgebaut und zudem weltweit Produktionsstätten errichtet, die Teile für den Werkstattmarkt fertigen. Der Bereich erzielt heute einen Umsatz von über fünf Milliarden Euro mit rund 17.000 Mitarbeitern an weltweit 150 Standorten.Thomas leitet seit März 2006 den Bereich Car Multimedia, wo Bosch alle Aktivitäten um Navigations- und Infotainmentsysteme gebündelt hat. Der promovierte Betriebswirtschaftler trat er 1989 als Abteilungsleiter Produktmanagement Handelserzeugnisse in den Bosch Geschäftsbereich Automotive Aftermarket ein. Nach weiteren Stationen innerhalb des Bereiches in Paris und als Direktor Export wechselte er Anfang 2001 als Vorstand zur Robert Bosch AG, Wien, wo er für Mittel- und Osteuropa zuständig war. 2003 wurde er zum Alleinvorstand der Bosch-Tochter berufen.Thomas wird Chef der Aftermarket-Sparte von Bosch
