"Wir wollen näher an die Automobilhersteller und Zulieferern in Baden-Württemberg rücken und mehr Präsenz zeigen", so Bürochef Axel Schmidt, der dafür eigens von der Strategieberatung Roland Berger abgeworben wurde und Geschäftsführer im Bereich Products bei Accenture ist, bei der Eröffnungfeier am Mittwochabend. Die Autoindustrie stehe vor großen Veränderungen, so der Manager mit Blick auf die Digitale Revolution und neue Geschäftsmodelle. Accenture könne die Unternehmen bei dem Wandel unterstützen.
Im Ranking der Automobilwoche liegt Accenture mit einem Umsatz von 30 Millionen Euro im Jahr 2011 auf Platz 14 der 25 größten IT-Dienstleister für die Autoindustrie in Deutschland. Das an der New York Stock Exchange notierte Unternehmen wies im Fiskaljahr 2012 (per 31. August 2012) einen Umsatz von knapp 28 Milliarden Dollar aus. Operativ hat Accenture fast 3,9 Milliarden Dollar verdient und kommt auf eine Rendite von 13,9 Prozent.Accenture will Geschäft mit Autoindustrie ankurbeln
Der IT-Dienstleister und weltweit größter SAP-Implementierungspartner Accenture eröffnet ein Büro in Stuttgart und will am Automobilstandort Baden-Württemberg stärker präsent sein.
Neue Geschäftsmodelle entstehen
"Wir sind der weltweit größte SAP-Implementierer", so Deutschland-Chef Frank Riemensperger. Rund 20 Prozent des Konzernumsatzes entfalle auf die Beratung, zwei Drittel stammt von industrienahen IT-Dienstleistungen sowie dem Betrieb von Anwendungslandschaften. Der Betrieb von Geschäftsprozessen - etwa die Übernahme des Einkaufs, der Buchhaltung oder des Personalwesens - erwirtschafte 15 Prozent des Gesamtumsatzes.
Wachstumschancen für sein eigenes Unternehmen und die Accenture-Kunden sieht Riemensperger vor allem durch die anstehende Digitale Revolution: "Intelligente Produkte in intelligenten Netzen werden die deutschen Großunternehmen befeuern". Dabei lieferten Daten Ideen für neue Produkte und vor allem zusätzliche Dienstleistungen. "So entstehen neue Geschäftsmodelle, die weit über den Verkauf eines Produkts hinausgehen."
