Böblingen. Lackieranlagenbauer Eisenmann hat von BMW einen Großauftrag im Zusammenhang mit dem Kapazitätsausbau im US-Werk Spartanburg erhalten. Der Münchner Autohersteller investiert 900 Millionen Dollar in die Werkserweiterung und baut unter anderem eine zusätzliche Lackiererei mit einer Kapazität von jährlich 150.000 Einheiten. Der Böblinger Maschinen- und Anlagenhersteller liefert die E-Scrub-Technologie. Dabei handelt es sich um ein ressourcen- und energieeffizientes Abscheidesystem von Lackpartikeln in der Abluft der Spritzkabine. Laut Eisenmann kommt E-Scrub damit zum ersten Mal auf dem nordamerikanischen Boden zum Einsatz. Außerdem kommt in der Vorbehandlung der Rohkarosse der Vario Shuttle zum Einsatz. Der frei programmierbare Tauchförderer ist bereits an weiteren internationalen BMW-Standorten in Funktion. Darüber hinaus liefert Eisenmann die gesamte Fördertechnik, einschließlich der Elektrohängebahn im Abdichtbereich. Zum Auftrag gehört auch die regenerative Nachverbrennungsanlage zur Abluftreinigung. Die Installationen der neuen Lackiererei startet in der zweiten Jahreshälfte, die volle Produktion soll im Januar 2015 aufgenommen werden. BMW produziert in Spartanburg die Geländewagen unter der Modellbezeichnung "X".
Der Familienkonzern Eisenmann hat im vergangenen Jahr mit 3700 Mitarbeitern einen Umsatz von 640 Millionen Euro erzielt. Der Böblinger Lackieranlagenbauer Eisenmann hat von BMW einen Auftrag für das US-Werk Spartanburg erhalten: Im Zuge des Kapazitätsausbaus stattet Eisenmann die Spritzkabinen mit umweltfreundlicher Abscheidetechnologie aus und liefert auch die KTL-Vorbehandlungsanlage.
Hohe Energieeinsparungen
In Spartanburg wird der E-Scrub in den bereits standardisierten "Integrated Paint Process“ integriert, ein optimierter Prozess, bei dem ein modifizierter Basislack das Auftragen und Einbrennen eines Füllers ersetzt. Auf die KTL-Schicht werden die Basislack-Schichten aufgetragen und erst anschließend getrocknet, dann der Klarlack appliziert. Der verkürzte Prozess erhöht die Produktivität und verbessert den Ressourcen- und Energieverbrauch, wie Eisenmann erklärt. E-Scrub unterstütze diesen Prozess zusätzlich mit Einsparungen von bis zu 75 Prozent und leiste somit einen erheblichen Beitrag zur Energiebilanz jedes produzierten Fahrzeugs.
Mit dem E-Shuttle, das aus den drei frei programmierbaren Fahr-, Hub- und Drehachsen besteht, können alle Karossentypen mit einer individuellen, an die Bedürfnisse des Produktes angepassten Tauchkurve durch den Vorbehandlungs- und KTL-Prozess gefahren werden. Die Karosse kann so entweder mit Dach oben oder unten, oder in einem für die Qualität optimierten Winkel, ein- und ausgetaucht und durch die Bäder transportiert werden.
