München. Unter den Top 100 finden sich acht deutsche Marken, dazu zählen neben SAP, Deutsche Telekom und Siemens auch drei aus dem Autosektor: BMW, Mercedes- Benz und Volkswagen. Insgesamt gehören zu den 100 wertvollsten Marken sechs aus der Autoindustrie, angeführt von Toyota mit 24,5 Milliarden Dollar auf Platz 23, dicht gefolgt von BMW mit 24 Milliarden Dollar. Die Marke der Münchner hat mit Minus zwei Prozent leicht an Wert eingebüßt, andere hingegen konnten zulegen. So steigerte Mercedes den Wert der Marke um elf Prozent auf knapp 18 Milliarden Dollar, dennoch liegen die Stuttgarter mit Rang 43 weit hinter BMW zurück. Der Wert der Marke VW erhöhte sich um drei Prozent auf 8,8 Milliarden Dollar. Den größten Zuwachs unter den Automarken verbuchte mit 18 Prozent Audi. Sie zählt aber nicht zu den Top 100, und ihr Markenwert beträgt nur rund ein Viertel des Werts von BMW.

Apple ist die wertvollste Marke der Welt, gefolgt von Google und IBM. Das ermittelte die achte Markenwertstudie BrandZ des Marktforschungsunternehmens Millward Brown. Sie analysiert Marken auf Basis von Finanzkennzahlen und Daten der Markt- und Verbraucherforschung.
