Zum 1. Januar 2024 hat der Technologie-Konzern Bosch den Unternehmensbereich Mobility neu geordnet. Eigentlich sollte Uwe Gackstatter als Sektorvorstand für die kaufmännischen Aufgaben dabei eine zentrale Rolle spielen. Jetzt hat Gackstatter über das Business-Netzwerk LinkedIn seinen überraschenden Abschied von dem Unternehmen bekannt gegeben. Über die Hintergründe lässt sich nur spekulieren.
Vom Unternehmen gibt es zu der Personalie keine offizielle Stellungnahme oder Pressemitteilung. Man konzentriere sich auf die Ebene der Geschäftsführung und werde dies nicht kommentieren, so ein Sprecher. Dabei wurde die Besetzung des Mobility-Vorstands Anfang Mai noch mit einer ausführlichen Pressemitteilung gewürdigt. Neben Bosch-Geschäftsführer Markus Heyn, der für das Mobility-Geschäft verantwortlich ist, gehören dem Vorstand noch Andreas Dempf (Vertrieb), Klaus Mäder (Werke und Qualität) sowie Mathias Pillin (Technologie) an. Nachfolger von Gackstatter wird laut einer Unternehmenssprecherin Volker Schilling, der zuvor die elektrischen Antriebe verantwortete.
"Nach 34 erfüllten Jahren ist es an der Zeit, ein neues Kapitel aufzuschlagen. Weitere Details folgen", schreibt Gackstatter in einem Beitrag. "Die fantastischen Erfahrungen und Herausforderungen, die wir gemeinsam gemeistert haben, werden mir für immer in Erinnerung bleiben." Zu den genauen Gründen für seinen plötzlichen Abschied von Bosch äußert er sich aber nicht. Auf Nachfrage der Automobilwoche sagte Gackstatter: "Ich habe eine Altersgrenze von 60 Jahren in meinem Arbeitsvertrag, insofern passt das für mich."
