Der schweizerische Erdöl- und Energieanbieter Varo Energy will seine Transformation zu Zero Emission vorantreiben und hat dazu den Aachener Ladeinfrastruktur-Anbeiter Elexon vollständig übernommen.
Mit dem Deal gehen gut 24.000 Ladepunkte und mehr als 900 Ladestationen vor allem in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz an Varo Energy. Elexon ist vor allem im Flottengeschäft der DHL Group einbezogen und organisiert dort das Lademanagement der Elektro-Transporter.
Ziel von Varo Energy sei es, eine "Ende-zu-Ende"-Lösung für E-Mobilität anzubieten, erklärte das Unternehmen aus Baar/Schweiz. Für viele Kunden sei die Verringerung der Komplexität beim Einsatz von Elektro-Flotten von zentraler Bedeutung.
