Hyundai gibt weiter kräftig Gas: Nachdem die Koreaner gerade den Ioniq5 als Antwort auf ID3 & Co lanciert haben, bringen sie jetzt gegen Autos wie den Opel Mokka, den Ford Puma oder eben den VW T-Cross den Bayon in Stellung. Für einen geschätzten Startpreis knapp unter 18.000 Euro soll er noch in diesem Frühjahr das Segment der Großstadt-Geländewagen aufmischen und so zum Sidekick für den Kona werden.
Dabei setzten die Koreaner auf ein ausgesprochen auffälliges Design: "Mit seinem scharfen Look und der Integration der typischen Schlüsselelemente eines Hyundai-SUV festigt er unsere SUV-Designrichtung", sagt Luc Donckerwolke, Chief Creative Officer der Hyundai Motor Group. "Wir sind überzeugt, dass ihm sein einzigartiges und selbstbewusstes Design mit seinen klaren Linien und der pfeilförmigen Lichtsignatur einen hervorragenden Einstieg in das florierende europäische B-SUV-Segment ermöglicht."
