Das Start-up HyperPark, an dem auch der bekannte Bohrspezialist Herrenknecht beteiligt ist, hat einen prominenten Investor an Land gezogen. Dabei handelt es sich um Frank Li, den Ex-Finanzchef des chinesischen Autokonzerns Geely sowie Mitbegründer des Elektro-Start-ups HiPhi für Luxusautos. Li hatte auch die Investition von Geely in den damaligen Daimler-Konzern mitverantwortet.
"HyperPark ist ein typisches Beispiel für komplementäre Ressourcen zwischen China und Europa, deutsche Technologie mit Chinas reichhaltigen Anwendungsszenarien und Möglichkeiten zu kombinieren, um lukrative industrielle Ökosysteme zu schaffen", begründet Li sein Engagement. In einer ersten Finanzierungsrunde ging es zunächst um einen einstelligen Millionenbetrag.
